The Duplex Cabaret Theatre

The DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE is a 70 seat off-Broadway venue that features performances of all types nightly. In the past, DCT audiences were lucky enough to catch early developmental versions of soon-to-be off-Broadway hits like Nunsense, Hello Muddah! Hello Faddah!, Mark Twain Tonight and a slew of others. More recently, the theatre has been the venue of choice for VH-1 star John Fugelsang, NYC drag diva Lady Bunny and the comedy troupe Funny Gay Males.

Currently, the DCT is home to the stand up comedy of Tommy Koenig every Saturday night. In addition to his weekly spot, Tommy also hosts the Comics Studio, a showcase for promising new comedians who study with Tommy and staff at his comedy school by the same name.

Another regular at the Cabaret Theatre is PLP, a showcase that puts the Cabaret & Broadway stars of tomorrow in the spotlight. Past PLP shows have included future cast members of Once on This Island and Les Miserables. See PLP now and someday you can say that you saw them "way back when...."

Additionally, The Duplex Cabaret Theatre continues to present the wide variety of entertainment that made it New York City's oldest continuing cabaret, including musical revues, singers, stand-up comics, improv groups, and other acts.
