Jenn Harris – The Moment You Been Waiting Four

Jenn Harris - The Moment You Been Waiting Four

Jenn likes her Barbies, her version of MTV music videos, and working it ALL out. In her first solo show ever since her bedroom at the age of 7, Jenn uses props and pop music from her past & present to examine whatever and get her through the week…

Critics have called Jenn “Fun to watch”, “Wonderfully droll”, “She puts a quirky spin on both verbal and physical comedy”, “Minimalist’s discipline and unshakeable onstage sangfroid”, “Jenn Harris takes audiences down comedic rabbit holes.”

Jenn’s friends call her:
Randy- “Ugh. Creative, hilarious, ingenious, whacky, astute, absurdist, fierce.”
Matt- “Ballsy, weird, explosive, fun, stupid, childish, brave, crazy, joyful, positive, energetic.”
Jamie (No longer a friend)- “….nice…when you know you are gonna get something free. Kinda dominating, but clean.”

Me: “Dad how would you describe my work? In one word?”
Dad: “Are you talking about the writing stuff or the performance stuff? I don’t know but we are kinda biased. We’ve never seen anything bad unless we are going to go back to college stuff, but even then it wasn’t your fault because it was the writing, but anything we’ve seen you do, you do great, and steal the show and it’s like, Jesus God! It’s nuts. Come on already! We are disappointed in the business. I mean GOD!…Okay, ONE word to describe your work, ahh…I don’t know? Great for us. ‘Great’ I guess? Overachieving. Well, I guess you could take that as bad, but you know. Uh…Underappreciated. You can give that to the casting directors. I mean the business department is disappointing. But it ain’t over. I mean how old is that guy from WHIPLASH? And no one even knew him except for that insurance commercial, and but still, he was old then! I mean how old was Kevin Spacey before he got the movie 7?”

Michelle Buteau: Born in New Jersey to Caribbean parents, comedian/host/performer Michelle Buteau brings a cheeky swagger, unique perspective and big personality to stage and screen. You can catch her co-hosting on VH1’s Big Morning Buzz Live with Nick Lachey weekdays at 9AM. Michelle has been a staple at VH1 appearing on countless I Love The series, Best Week Ever, where she was nominated for a New Now Next Award, and also played the sassy sidekick on The Jenny McCarthy Show. As well as playing Private Robinson on FOX’s critically acclaimed series Enlisted, Michelle is also known as ‘The Crazy Girlfriend’ on Comedy Central’s Key & Peele and Adult Swim’s The Eric Andre Show. Michelle’s dynamic presence both on television and on the stage, bringing an unapologetic frankness to every performance will have you saying “Hey, Girl Hey!” the rest of your day.

Marina Franklin: New-York based Marina Franklin is emerging as one of the hottest comedians in the comedy scene today, with such notable appearances as, Wanda Syke’s Herlarious, Showtime’s Women Who Kill, Craig Ferguson’s Late Late Show, The Jay Leno Show, Chappelle’s Show, Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, NBC’s Last Comic Standing Season II, and Showtime at The Apollo. Franklin’s career in entertainment wasn’t always in stand-up comedy; originally from Chicago, she made her acting debut at the Illinois Rep Theatre. Veronica Mosey: Veronica Mosey is a force to be reckoned with. (She is already irritated, that last sentence ended in a preposition.) Her strong opinions and fiery performances, have earned her regular stage time at the Comic Strip in New York City as well as appearances on The Dr. Phil Show and Vh1. She has been seen in national commercials and her sarcastic wit has been published in Us Weekly magazine’s Fashion Police segment.
