Tony DeCicco has over two decades worth of experience in piano bars. After graduating from Upsala College with a double major in Business and Theater, he began his career in the bar business at Don’t Tell Mama, as the technical director. Four years later, he went on to take a similar position at the Duplex in the cabaret theater. Shortly thereafter, he was promoted to operations manager and booking manager of the room. Additionally, during this time, Tony became part owner of two popular Greenwich Village restaurants Halo and Hue. In 2004, after 12 years of working at the Duplex, he was offered the opportunity to become owner, which he gladly accepted. In 2007, he also became partner at the Stonewall Inn, a legendary gay bar a few doors down from the Duplex. His personal passions include spending time with his two children, Natalie and Gabriel, running (he has run the NYC Marathon six times) and traveling.
