A VERY NATALIE NEW YEAR with Natalie Douglas and Mark Hartman

Happy New Year! Well…almost…so that means it’s time for Natalie Douglas’ New Year’s Eve Bash!!

aka the Best New Year’s Eve deal in New York City – with the critically acclaimed Natalie Douglas performing two shows for New Years’ Eve.

Natalie’s New Year’s Eve performances in Greenwich Village have become a New York tradition, with this her 17th NYE Bash. Through her performances at Café Carlyle, Carnegie Hall, New York’s Town Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center and the legendary Birdland jazz club, 7 time MAC, Bistro and Nightlife Awards and the prestigious 2014 Margaret Whiting award winner, Natalie has become one of the most sought after cabaret/jazz/blues artists in the country.

This year at 7:30PM, Natalie, with Musical Director Mark Hartman, a veteran of Broadway pits, will open the evening with their traditional NYE bash, “A VERY NATALIE NEW YEAR” – a collection of their favorite celebratory tunes, putting you in the perfect mood to head off to your late night plans.

Then at 10:45PM join Natalie and Mark as they perform some of their favorite songs, along with tunes debuted just for this exclusive crowd, your “special” requests, perhaps a little bit of Christmas and a smidgen of Nina Simone, Dolly Parton, Joni Mitchell and more as they ring in the New Year with old and new friends.

What critics have said:

“When she belts, she’s got enough pipes to outfit a plumber’s convention. The truth is… she’s got everything.”
– The NY Daily News

“Douglas now sings with more power, support and-most importantly-unbridled joy than ever before…amazing.”
– Show Business Weekly

“Combining the soul of a gospel singer with the musicianship of a jazz singer and the warm, chatty intimacy of a great cabareteuse, she can sing sweetly and softly and she can belt with the kind of power that you makes you respect her authority. Natalie Douglas is an artist well worth staying up late for.”
– Wall Street Journal

“She is considered what Green Acres’ Eva Gabor would call a “shoosting star,” a friendly, unimposing presence with a monstrous talent.”
– Next Magazine
